We invite you to join our upcoming Family Enrichment Night, themed “Living a Blessed Life.” This interactive Zoom session will feature an interview-style conversation, followed by Q&A and open discussion.
Our guest speaker, James “JR” Harrison, will share on the topic “Restoring the Natural Family.” JR is the founding director of the Natural Family Foundation, an organization dedicated to strengthening and restoring the role of the family in today’s society.
Drawing from his personal experience growing up in a broken family, JR will explore why the family is often taken for granted and why strong families are essential to a healthy and thriving community.
About James “JR” Harrison:
JR believes that history is ultimately the story of families—the stronger the family, the better the outcome. He is also the longtime host of the “Last Call” podcast (under the name BJ Edwards), where he engages in thoughtful conversations with individuals working to make a meaningful impact, guided by the principle of “lighting a candle rather than cursing the darkness.”
He is currently completing his upcoming book, “Romans II,” which examines parallels between the Roman Empire and modern society through the lens of the family unit.
JR’s past work with Minutemen United further shaped his conviction that “as goes the father, so goes the family; as goes the family, so goes the church; and as goes the church, so goes the nation.” He believes that in order to start our way back to restoring our special founding as a nation we must do what our creator did in the beginning. He created the family, the Natural Family and what can only be described as an evidenced based best practice which is the starting point for our journey back to the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Striving to create a strong, healthy, and loving family centered on God takes hard work and intentional decision making in many different domains of our lives. Through focused presentations and discussions on topics relevant to self mastery, building great families, and being stewards over the natural world, we hope to provide a space to share wisdom from the lived experiences of people from all walks of life along the journey of meaningful spiritual growth. The presentations will be followed by an opportunity for participants to engage and ask questions.
