Hebrews 5:12-14 KJV

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

So… are you ready for a STEAK DINNER?

TESTIMONY:

For 55 years of my life I was satisfied with milk, the baby food that is offered by the pastor of my local church each week. I would attend for an hour on Sunday and boom, I was good for the week! This milk was usually some biblical study that was perfected in months of planning by the pastor and presented with the best of his seminary knowledge.

At various times I would attempt to read the entire bible on my own cover to cover but would often get stalled in the early chapters of the Old Testament that I did not understand. I wanted to read the whole bible but I just was not able/willing to do it.

For the last 5 years, I have become sick of baby food and no longer want milk… I want the STEAK DINNER! And I am happy to say that steak is much better than milk!

I used an audio book app called AUDIBLE. I have read/listed to 70 books in the past few years. My new book that I can add to the list is the ENTIRE HOLY BIBLE! The version I chose was a dramatized version in NKJV called The Word of Promise Audio Bible, 98 hours. There are many audio bible you can choose your preferred version. If you prefer CD version you can buy this online.

It took about 3 months listening for an hour per day. I had been trying to do this for most of my life so 3 months seemed fast to me.

Reading/listening to the bible in context and in totality makes all the difference. Instead of listening to bible lessons being given to you by others.

CHALLENGE:

  1. Acquire an audio version of the Holy Bible.
  2. Listen to the entire Holy Bible
  3. Enjoy your STEAK DINNER!
